the PROMOTION

The movie is about Doug and Richard,
Two people work hard for a same reason,
For getting the manager position at the new branch.

They both work very hard,
Although Doug wins in this competition,
Richard still get a manager job back in his hometown.

This tells us we will get what we want if we pursue it patiently….

It reminds me about my interview for cabin crew at Eva air,
That night I got the email from the company, I knew I failed, but I pretend nothing happened…
Then I cried hard in the middle of the night.

What’s the big deal for not being hired by Eva air??
It’s time to move forward.
At least I have fought for it, at least I have passed 3 stages…
There are still a lot of chances.

This weekend, I am going to the open day of QATAR airways, good luck to me=)

Country Side

It’s my weekend again!!
This week I stayed in taichung, and my boyfriend come visiting.
Go for an afternoon tea at tunghai art street, it is a cute coffee shop filled with cozy atmosphere.


At night, we hunt food at fengchia nightmarket, I haven’t been here for a long while…
Probably last time when Erica visited. Joking.

The point is,
We went field trip on Friday, it was an awful day, because it started to rain on Friday, but Monday to Thursday were sunny days!

We took train then bus to a small hakka town in Miaoli.
It wasn’t so much fun because most stores didn’t open on weekday, and the weather was awful, but we still enjoy our time together.

My nose wakes up first

Every morning my nose wakes up earlier than me.
Whenever my nose starts to stuck and wants to sneeze, it wakes my conscious, than I have to take tissue to wipe my nose, and my body wakes.

I don’t like my nose behaving like this…
It really disturb me in the morning, sometimes I am not going to get up that early,
But my nose wakes me up like this.

As if I wasn’t breathing during my sleep, as long as I’m awaken a little bit, my nose start to bother me…

I really hate this nose allergy!!

Talk is cheap

Recently, I love this line of lyrics very much,
“Talk is cheap, give me a word you can keep.”
It is from a song called “Halfway gone.”

This line reveals the disappointing while some promises have not been kept by others.
It’s like someone you care about always keep you disappointed, that certainly hurts and sad.
In Chinese culture there is slang about a word worth thousand dollars, I think that is a similar meaning.

One can say something easily, talk is easy, but keeping what you’ve said, maybe not that easy!
So it reminds us to keep our words seriously or we might hurt some people’s feelings.
I think this line makes me think a lot, and it also gives me some reflection on myself.

Spring Break

Usually we don’t have spring break at our school,
This year, as a senior student,
I have a spring break for myself.
From Wednesday to the next Tuesday.

On Friday, I went to Yangming Mountain with my boyfriend,
It is the season of Calla Lily(海芋).

It was a cloudy day in the city, but as we approaching into Bamboo Lake, where the Calla Lilies’ farms at, the weather was worse, it was raining, and freezing out there.

After we got off car, we walked around the fields and chose one farm to visit.
Calla Lilies are grown in water, so we changed into rain boots to go into the lily field.

It was really cold in the mountain, and was still raining, both of us were shivering in the field, and our hands were cold as ice, but it was so much fun pulling those flowers out from the ground.

Each of us gets 8 calla lilies back home. They are so pretty and so is this day.

Second Stage

I got the email today!
I was shocked about the content,
It was a written test at second stage...

Sorry I have to type it in Chinese,

Oops, I’m kind of worried!
There’s no way to prepare I guess.

EVA AIR

My dream is to be a flight attendant,
While I am going to graduate from school, I am approaching my dream.

I sent my resume weeks ago,
And I finally got an e-mail informing me to interview.
Amber, Rita, and Eva got the mail as well.

The company of Eva air is in Nankang, our interview time is 8 o’clock in the morning, Mar 20th.
Four of us booked a hotel room nearby the interview place.
Though it was so closed to the place, we still had to get up at 5in order to dress up, and make our appearance neat.

It was just the first stage.

There are two parts interviewing today.
First, we went on catwalk.
Of course, all the girls should wear high heels.

Then, we went to another room,
Five girls in a group,
And each of us had to read a passage in English and Taiwanese.

After this, it was a terrible 2 minutes of waiting.
A girl came out from the room with 5 pieces of paper….

I passed!!
Only one girl from my group failed, I guess it was because she laughed when one of the girls read funny Taiwanese.

So I am going to the second stage, with Amber and Eva.
It is Mar 27th.
